The character is appreciable but it lacks details and looks like a little flat on the arms and skirt.

I actually really like this, the brush strokes are soft and pleasant to look at, 3 things though...

the head looks to small for the body, there is almost no neck, and the hands look a little manish, but all and all the girl is beautiful, and i love the mood of this.

Smudgy like hell, tons of proportion errors, "natural" color with no hint on lighting or environment. Lackadaisical work.

Go to fineart.sk, get Loomis, practice in earnest.

I agree, Lumis is the way to go; Don't be afraid to look at references as well. The colors are great, however.
